Morocco Recognized as 25th Nation to Contribute Troops to Korean War
On the 70th anniversary of the Korean War armistice, Morocco is being
recognized as the 25th nation to contribute troops to the conflict.The discovery of Moroccan soldiers who served in the French battalion was made possible
by the Korean Embassy in Morocco.
The family members of Corporal-Chef Mohamed El Asri, one of the two Moroccan soldiers who died in the Korean War, were present at the event.
The Korean government expressed its gratitude to all the heroes and their families from all participating nations.
